The Alexander Valley Film Society is pleased to announce Red Carpet Evening 2015, a fundraising gala celebrating Hollywood’s Biggest Night at The Clover Theater February 22, from 4-9:30PM.

Cloverdale, CA  (February 2, 2016) – The Alexander Valley Film Society will host Red Carpet Evening 2015, a fundraising gala celebrating Hollywood’s Biggest Night at The Clover Theater in Cloverdale, February 22, from 4-9:30PM. The affair will feature a glamour-filled evening replete with a walk down the red carpet, an elegant Old Hollywood style lounge, fabulous food and drink, and of course, people watching galore!

“This celebration is the Film Society’s coming out party,” says AV Film Society Executive Director Kathryn Hecht. “Our goal for this event is to marry small-town values to Hollywood glam. Between Kelley Voss’ classically styled models making multiple costume changes all while serving champagne, to the paparazzi of our area high school photography classes, it’s an all-over the map kind of fabulous.”

Attendees can sip local wines, nosh on festive artisanal fare and view Hollywood’s most famous evening on the big screen, all while watching the parade of attendees in glamorous gowns and inspired costumes.

“It’s pretty epic,” says Matt Semmelhack, owner of Mercer Restaurant Group and the soon-to-open Trading Post Market and Bakery in Cloverdale. “The team putting this together is very serious about having a good time. I’ve never heard false eyelashes, swag bag, silent auction, and champagne cocktails mentioned this often in the same sentence. It’s definitely time to break out the tux.”

Proceeds from Red Carpet Evening 2015 will help fund the first Alexander Valley Film Festival in October, 2015. The Festival will feature independent films from emerging artists around the globe with a special emphasis on bringing those artists to the Alexander Valley community. Individual tickets are $125, VIP tickets are $250. They can be purchased at www.redcarpetevening.org.
