True West Film Center supports bold, creative, independent art and artists. Our spaces and events encourage the open exchange of ideas and perspectives anchored in mutual respect. Robust and inclusive debate is intrinsic to our community values. We encourage all who submit their work to our festival and/or attend our events and classes to follow the golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated.
We hold steadfast in our commitment to freedom of creative expression while simultaneously lifting up anti-racist, anti-sexist, and anti-discriminatory practices in all areas of the True West Film Center Community (staff, patrons, students, and artists). We strive to protect community members from inappropriate, disruptive, abusive, or threatening conduct.
Therefore, we ask everyone in the True West Film Center community to do their part in creating an environment that is welcoming to all by committing to being:
If you experience or witness any inappropriate conduct, you can report it via email to in**@tr****************.org, and a member of the True West Film Center team will respond as soon as possible.
All incidents that violate our commitment to one another will be subject to an immediate and equitable review process, in the sole discretion of True West Film Center.
